The Union Finance Minister presented the interim budget for the financial year 2024-25 in the Lok Sabha today at 11 am. He addressed the budget for about 57 minutes.
Following this, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Finance Bill 2024 in the Lok Sabha. Following this, Speaker Om Birla said that the Lok Sabha will be adjourned till 11 am tomorrow.
No major announcements have been made in the currently tabled interim budget as the new government, which will take over after the Lok Sabha elections, will present the full budget.
