US gives green light to Europeans for F-16 delivery to Ukraine – Ukraine

Washington/Kiev – After months of debates, the United States, as the producer country, gave the Western European NATO countries the Netherlands and Denmark the green light to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine on Friday. This means that the country attacked by Russia a year and a half ago will for the first time have a modern Western-style combat aircraft to defend itself against the invaders.
