Batteries then! He Location and Leveling System ―SUN― shared the USAC 2025 Basic Knowledge Testing calendar for all those Guatemalans who are carrying out their admission process to the University of San Carlos this year.

Four opportunities were announced for this year, here we leave you the assignment processlas dates and other details that you should take into account. If you know someone who could use this information, be sure to share it!

USAC Basic Knowledge Tests 2025

The University of San Carlos of Guatemala has announced the Basic Knowledge Test dates ―PCB― corresponding to the income of the year 2025. These exams are part of the admission process to access the different academic programs offered by the university and are free.

This is the second step in the admission process and the only requirement to take the evaluations is to have the result of your Vocational Orientation Test. If you have not completed them yet, check the dates in this note:

PCB calendar to join USAC in 2025

First Chance:

• Assignment: From June 26 to 28.
• Application: From July 8 to 24.
• Results: As of July 29.

Second opportunity:

• Assignment: From August 6 to 8.
• Application: From August 19 to 29.
• Results: Starting September 3.

Third Chance:

• Assignment: From September 10 to 12.
• Application: From September 23 to 30.
• Results: Starting October 3.

Fourth Chance:

• Assignment: From October 8 to 10.
• Application: From October 22 to 29.
• Results: Starting November 4th.

Details to take into account about PCBs

• The PCBs are multiple choice exams that measure the degree of knowledge and mastery in Biology, Physics, Language, Mathematics and Chemistry, which were taught during the basic and diversified cycles.
• The next step when passing these evaluations is to assign yourself to the specific tests.
• You will not be evaluated in all of these subjects, the faculty and academic unit you wish to enter decides which basic knowledge tests you must take. Check the list in this post:

Registration process for Basic Knowledge Tests

Follow these steps to assign yourself:

1. Enter the official page of the USAC Location and Leveling System (and select the “Create Account” option in the main menu.
2. Select the type of account, in this case, “Applicant” if it is a first entry, and enter the Vocational Guidance Number “NOV” and date of birth.
3. Enter the requested personal information and verify that it is correct. Add a valid email address and click “Register”.
4. Create a secure password that meets the established requirements (minimum 8 characters, including at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, a number and/or a special character).
5. Log in again with the created account and verify that the data is correct on the home screen.
6. In the menu, find the section corresponding to PCBs and click on “Assignment”.
7. Select the location and faculty where you plan to study and click “Assign.”
8. The assignment certificate will be displayed, verify that your data is correct and read carefully the information about the subjects that will be evaluated, the day and time of the application and the access link to the platform where the evaluations will be carried out.
