As for detecting the hidden camera mechanism, you must first make sure that the feature works on your phone by following these steps:
• Turn on your phone’s camera and point it at the remote control, whether it’s a TV remote or any other device you have
• Turn on the remote control and find that the lamp on it emits a small light
• Try looking at the light once with the front camera and then again with the back camera
• During the experiment, try to make the room as dark as possible so that you can find the red light
If you want to search for hidden cameras you can use the previous method, but if you are very concerned you can use more accurate equipment, such as radio frequency detectors, which can detect signals from hidden microphones and cameras.
