Valladolid, Espanyol and Elche, the three teams that have been relegated to the Second Division this season, already know the roadmap if they want to return next season to the top flight of Spanish football. With Alcorcón and Eldense, last to reach the silver category, the 22 teams already know the planning of the 462 games that make up the season, including the key dates and the most outstanding derbies.

The starting gun will be on August 11 and its end on June 2. From there, the promotion phase will begin, which will be played by those classified between 3rd and 6th place. The first round of the playoff will be played on Sunday the 9th and Wednesday the 12th; while the finals will be played on the 16th and 23rd, already coinciding with the Eurocup in progress.

Unlike the First Division, the second category of Spanish football will only stop once since the start of the season. It will be at Christmas and will join the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey, which will lead to a break of almost a month. The last day of 2023 will be held on December 20 and the first of 2024 is set for January 14. The silver category will not rest during the FIFA dates.

Going back to the three teams that were relegated in this last campaign, Espanyol will debut visiting Albacete on August 13 and will end on June 2 receiving Cartagena; Valladolid will begin its journey through the category against Sporting in Zorrilla and will end it against Tenerife as a visitor, while Elche will begin the League at home against Rácing de Ferrol and the last one will take place in Leganés.
