Valladolid is preparing to host the ninth edition of Motor Vintage next Sunday

by time news

Next Sunday, October 2, the Paseo Central and Acera de Recoletos will once again become a living museum of automotive history in a new appointment of the Valladolid Motor Vintage.

It is a massive meeting, with nearly five hundred vehicles and more than fifteen thousand spectators, in previous editions, who enjoy a sunny Sunday, with free admission in all the extension of the word, who mix with fans addicted to motoring, young people and older with attractive vehicles and good music from decades past. A tasty and spicy menu to taste in a Valladolid that, yesterday and today, is a city of the car, that car that has brought life and communication between cities and, ultimately, between people. And it is that yesterday that the VMV wants to revive for a few hours before the eyes of adults and children, turning Zorr’s Squareilla, the Paseo Central del Campo Grande and the Acera de Recoletos, in an immense showcase to admire, compare, learn about, or discuss.

And give in to the pleasure of seeing vehicles from very different eras, brands, genres, prestigious or more humble models, with two or four and even six wheels. Throughout the eight editions we have seen copies of very different brands, from Hispano Suiza, Buick, Delage, Jaguar, Aurburn, Lotus, MG, Mercedes, Ferrari, Morris, Simca, Seat, Peugeot, Renault, Volkswagen, Willys Jeep… And also on two wheels, BSA, Harley-Davidson, Motobécane, Terrot, Triumph… without forgetting the Vespa or Lambretta scooters, nor the tractors or trucks, which always arouse admiration and recognition from fans and organizers who know that moving one of these vehicles is no easy task.

Culture and coexistence

Participating in the VMV is a clear way of showing the social and cultural aspect that accompanies the interest in classic and vintage vehicles. Today, more than ever, the administration and society in general must be made aware of the importance of this Historical Heritage. For this reason, it is also important that the participants respect all the indications of the organization in terms of behavior, avoiding actions that harm the image of the meeting and of the rest of the participants.

Vintage and classic vehicles tell a story, attract sympathy. In a world harder every timethese vehicles are one of those bastions of freedom, with which very different people can get closer, get to know each other.

Registration is free and can be done online by CLICKING HERE, until 12 pm on Wednesday, September 28, when the deadline closes. It is important to underline that unregistered vehicles or that their registration has not been confirmed by the organization are not allowed on the VMV premises.
