Mumbai: Vande Bharat Express train departed from Mumbai Central to Gujarat Gandhi Nagar yesterday. The train was running near Ahmedabad at 11.15 am when it collided with the buffaloes. The front part of the locomotive was damaged. This part is made of plastic fiber. Due to this, the train engine was not affected. Then this train left Gandhinagar railway station for Mumbai yesterday. There the damaged front part was replaced within 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Vande Bharat train on its way to Mumbai from Gandhinagar hit a cow near Anand railway station yesterday. There was minor damage to the front of the train.
