The representative of the Netherlands Max Verstappen (“Red Bull”) took first place in the ranking of the best racers at the end of the world championship in the class of cars “Formula 1” according to the pilots themselves.
Each athlete voted for the ten strongest pilots. Points for the drivers were awarded according to the current scoring system in Formula 1: 25 points for the first place, tenth – one. Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) finished second, and his compatriot Lando Norris, who plays for McLaren, closed the top three.
Note that earlier Verstappen was recognized as the best pilot of the season according to the team leaders. Last season, Max became the world champion for the first time in his career. He managed to break the streak of victories for Hamilton, who won the championship from 2017 to 2020. The Briton came in second.
