Luxury smartphone brand Vertu has made its triumphant return to the Thai market with the launch of three new products: the Metavertu 5G, Signature V push-button phone, and luxury smartwatch Metawatch H1. The availability of these products comes as a result of a partnership between VST ECS (Thailand) Company Limited and Yuanmai (Thailand).
Speaking on the return of Vertu, Mr. Somsak Petthaweeporndet, Chief Executive Officer of VST ECS (Thailand), expressed his excitement for the brand’s comeback. He stated that the luxury mobile phone market in Thailand shows promise and potential for growth, and the Vertu brand, known for its combination of luxury and technology, is well-poised to meet the needs and desires of consumers in this segment.
Mr. Suthikiat Kittipattarakul, Chief Executive Officer of Yuanmai (Thailand) Co., Ltd., echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the re-launch of Vertu in Thailand aims to set a new benchmark for high-end mobile phones. He highlighted that consumers in the high-end market are seeking unique products to express their individuality, presenting an opportune moment to reintroduce the Vertu brand in the country.
Vertu has introduced three new products to the market: the Metavertu 5G, Signature V, and Metawatch H1. The Metavertu 5G is priced at 139,000 baht and offers a single storage capacity of 12GB+512GB, along with support for Web3 technology, blockchain, and personal digital wallets. The device features a luxurious design with materials such as Italian calf leather, crocodile skin, carbon fiber, and a sapphire screen. It boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, encrypted security chip, and advanced camera technology.
The Signature V, priced at 699,000 baht, is a classic push-button phone that exudes the timeless craftsmanship and elegance of Vertu. The device is handcrafted and comes with a distinctive ruby button, as well as custom ringtones performed by the London orchestra, adding a touch of sophistication to the user experience.
Lastly, the Metawatch H1, priced at 99,000 baht, is a luxury smartwatch with a square design. It features a 1.85-inch screen, blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring capabilities, and is waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating. The smartwatch is compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems, offering a blend of style and functionality.
