From January 11th, an FFP2 mask is required outdoors if the distance is less than two meters, and there are also mandatory 2G controls in retail. As early as January 8, the quarantine for contact persons will be shortened, declared ÖVP Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Health Minister Wolfgang Mückstein (Greens) afterwards.
