Pune: Well-known Pune-based violinist Shalish Sasidharan (47) passed away in Nagpur due to cardiac arrest. Shalish Sasidharan Atingal is a native of Chathumpara who lives in Anurag near New Priyadarshini School on Bhosari Diggy Road.

Symphony had gone with the Bhosari group to perform a song at Nagpur Ayyappa Temple as part of Mandala Puja. He collapsed while standing at the railway station on Wednesday morning to return. He was immediately rushed to the platform’s emergency department but was pronounced dead.

Informed Malayalee Samaj of Nagpur, NSS. Workers and others reached the spot and provided other assistance. After the postmortem, the body will be brought to Pune.
