VK announced the creation of two business groups that will combine “key products and services of the holding.” About it reported on the company’s website.

The Social Platforms and Media Content business group will include VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Zen, VK Video, VK Music, VK Clips and VK Messenger. It was headed by Stepan Kovalchuk as VK senior vice president for media strategy.

The Ecosystem and Integrated Services group, led by VK Senior Vice President for Business Development and Investments Alexander Aivazov, will include Mail.ru mail services, the Rustore app store, VK ID, VK Pay, educational products and new businesses.

“As the products of the business group develop, they can expand and include new assets of the holding. Products and services that are not included in the established business groups will continue to develop within their divisions,” VK said in a statement.

On August 11, the company announced that the shareholders and board of directors of VK had decided to re-register the legal entity from the British Virgin Islands to Russia. VK will continue to operate as an international company of a public joint stock company (MKPAO VK) in a special administrative region on Oktyabrsky Island in the Kaliningrad Region. The company has also decided to delist depositary receipts and senior unsecured convertible bonds from the London Stock Exchange (LSE). Listing will be terminated from 12 September.
