Waiting for the opening ceremony of government hospital at Rs.165 crore

Thiruvallur- Thiruvallur District Government General Hospital was upgraded to Government Medical College Hospital two years ago. Subsequently, the existing old building was demolished. There, the construction of a new six-storey building has started at a cost of 165 crore rupees. The ground floor of the new building, which is being prepared on JN Road, Tiruvallur, will be used as a parking space. In this new building, there will be more than 400 beds. Also, similar to the Chennai government hospitals, all the major treatment units like heart, fracture treatment, accident unit, emergency care unit will be set up. At present, bed facilities, operating room, oxygen tube installation work is going on inside the hospital building. All these works will be completed soon. As of now, it is ready to be opened for public use soon. Thus, the people of Tiruvallur district can now get the same treatment as Chennai city at Tiruvallur Government Medical College Hospital.
