An entrepreneurial director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited, a company listed in the engineering sector in the capital market, has completed the sale of shares as previously announced. He announced to sell one lakh shares.
On Monday (April 1), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) informed this information.
According to sources, the entrepreneurial director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries is SM Rezaul Alam. Out of the 3.9 million shares held by him, he sold one lakh shares as per the announcement.
He has sold the said amount of shares in public and block market of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) within 30 days from the announcement of share sale. Earlier, on February 8 this year, he announced to sell shares.
Incidentally, Walton Hi-Tech Industries was listed in the capital market in 2020. The paid up capital of this company of ‘A’ category is 302 crores 92 lakhs 80 thousand taka. Accordingly, the total number of shares of the company is 30 crore 29 lakh 28 thousand 343. Out of this, 98.94 percent shares are held by the company’s entrepreneurial directors, 0.42 percent by institutional investors, 0.10 percent by foreign investors and 0.54 percent by general investors.
After reviewing the audited financial report for the last financial year ended June 30, 2023, the board of directors of the company has given 300 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.
