Warnings of heavy rain and runoff of local valleys in the eastern region.

The National Center of Meteorology has warned of expectations of heavy rains in some areas of northeastern Libya, which may cause some local valleys to flow, calling on citizens to take caution.

The center said in its bulletin today, Thursday, that the northeastern regions of Libya will be affected by weather fluctuations on Thursday and Friday, with an opportunity for strong rains accompanied by quantities of thunderstorms to reach the regions.

The center indicated that the expected wind speed on the coast extending from the Gulf of Sirte to Al-Marj ranges between 25-30 knots, while the wave height reaches 2.50 meters.
