Libero De Rienzo, actor son of art (his father Fiore was Maselli’s assistant and correspondent of “Who has seen it?”), was part of the new wave of young talents, starting from advertising (a famous spot on pasta that always makes you feel at home) to get to directing, writing and directing «Blood death does not exist» with all the strengths and weaknesses of the first work, almost an Elizabethan tragedy starring Elio Germano.
Born in Naples, in Forcella districtOn February 24, 77, De Rienzo was reserved about his private life, but he was married to costume designer Marcella Mosca and became a father twice, with two children 6 and 2 years old. He had in his resume after a start in the theater with the Catalan company of the Fura dels Baus, many signatures who had believed in his jaunty air (comedy suited him) who knew how to become very serious, first Pupi Avati who made it debut in “La via degli angeli”, up to Valeria Golino who had wanted it in her first work “Miele”.

Of course you meet him in tv in the miniseries about Nassiriya directed by Michele Soavi, where he is a chosen carabiniere, and in the one on Aldo Moro di Tavarelli, in 2008, in which alongside the protagonist Michele Placido is the brigatista Valerio Morucci, in the Pantani case. The last titles he had participated in were the successful “Easy – An easy easy journey” by Magnani, “A Tor Bella Monaca never rains” by Bocci, “Dolceroma” by Resinaro, “I change everything!” by Guido Chiesa (now on Amazon Prime Video, due to pandemic) and «Fortuna».
