The next Monday day March 14, 2023we will celebrate a new edition of the special event dedicated to mathematics at the Bizkaia Aretoa (UPV/EHU) in Bilbao: BCAM NAUKAS, the day of Pi. This event takes place thanks to Basque Center for applied Mathematics and the Chair of Scientific Culture from the University of the Basque Country, and will feature some of the most interesting figures in popular mathematics in our country.
It will be a day full of activities, workshops and entertaining and interesting talks both in the morning and in the afternoon.
Admission to this event will be free and open until full capacity is reached.
Soon we will publish the program of talks so do not get lost and remember that On March 14, we celebrate Pi Day again.
PS: The poster has been made by the illustrator Nuria Gonzalez Santiago and it has been done through a contest called “A poster for IP day” in which students from the master’s degree in Scientific Illustration from the UPV/EHU have participated. On this occasion, the contest was won by Nuria González with her poster “Coding Pi, date and time”… and yes, the poster has some easy codes for you to entertain.
