Welcome MILOHIN, Prefect of the Mono department about the 10th Benin university games in Grand-Popo: “We especially want to congratulate the organizing committee”

“From November 5 to 11, the department of Mono by the commune of Grand-Popo had the honor of hosting the university games. It was a meeting where all the qualified universities in the 12 departments of Benin met here. They put on good performances in the different sporting disciplines. These are athletics, basketball, handball and football. We had to appreciate the talent of our young people. You know that in recent years there have been a lot of reforms in the sports sector. It’s great to see that we are gradually staying the course. For me, it is a pleasure to know that the reforms are paying off and that the fruits are keeping the promises of the flowers. We especially want to congratulate the organizing committee for everything that was made as a sacrifice to offer us this beautiful celebration because beyond everything, sport is a celebration as you can see in the stands, in the stands and on the stadium. So for us, it’s quite an honor. It was happening in other departments. This year it’s our turn. We are happy about it and we would like to hope that in the coming days, we will host other major competitions. The Grand-Popo stadium is one of the 22 stadiums offered by the government of His Excellency Patrice Talon, it is one of the most lively stadiums. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that we are open arms to welcome larger competitions.”
