The Chief Minister is proud to say that we have captured the Kongu region in the recent urban local elections.
Chief Minister MK Stalin shared at a press conference that the DMK had won in most of the wards in the urban local body elections and won in the Kongu region. As he spoke, the victory was a testament to the goodwill of the people over the past 9 months of rule. This is the recognition given by the people to the Dravidian model of rule. We are not arrogant about success, we will keep the hope that people have. He thanked the people of Tamil Nadu for giving the DMK alliance a huge victory in the urban local body elections.
He went on to congratulate all those who had won the urban elections, saying that the DMK had captured the AIADMK stronghold of the Kongu region and that no one should come and that action would be taken against whoever it was.
