The Ukrainian national flag is hoisted in New York City in support of Ukraine.
Russian forces have been waging war on Ukraine for the fourth week in a row. In this situation, a number of countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, have been vocal in support of Ukraine. In this context, the Ukrainian embassy in New York, Oleksey Holubov, along with municipal officials and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, hoisted the US flag and the Ukrainian flag together at the New York Bowling Green Park.
New York Mayor Eric Adams has announced that the Ukrainian flag will be flown in New York in support of the Ukrainian people and will continue to fly until Ukraine wins the war.
