A graduate of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University in 2020 became involved in protest activities.
On March 6, 2024, Belarusian Nikolai Alekseev was killed in Karelia under still unclear circumstances. Russian media report that he was killed by FSB officers during his arrest.
What is known about Nikolai Alekseev?
Judging by his VKontakte page, he is 49 years old. The avatar is Pahonia, among the latest illustrations is a candle in memory of Alexei Navalny, as well as photographs from the Belarusian protests 2020.
Alekseev attended school in Vitebsk, graduated from a vocational school there, and then entered the Belarusian Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank. There he studied at the Faculty of Russian Philology.
The questionnaire lists four children. The eldest son is already an adult, the youngest is 7 years old.
It seems that before the events of 2020, Alekseev worked as a yoga trainer.
Afterwards he became actively involved in protest activities.
