Valentine’s Day is important to the people of Solothurn. Flowers, chocolate and experiences are particularly popular as gifts. For the sales business, the day means more sales, but also more effort. However, it is not the most important day of the year.

Since Valentine’s Day coincides with the end of Carnival and the holidays, some stores are expecting slightly less income than in previous years.
