WhatsApp will allow you to send images in full quality without compression

Quite a few use WhatsApp as a quick tool for transferring photos and videos, but even though the quality of the photo has increased, the files sent in the application are compressed and the resolution reduced. But this is probably going to change and according to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will provide the option to upload full quality images.

According to the details, in WhatsApp version 2.23.2.11 which was released in a beta version only for developers, an option was added to send images of maximum quality through the application. Although there is already an option to choose the image quality from “automatic” to “best quality” to “save data”, the images sent are still compressed.

It is not yet clear if and when this ability will reach the application, which was recently discovered in the settings menus. Apart from that, it is not known whether WhatsApp will also provide a solution for videos that go through messages, since there is also compression and a limit to a file of up to 16 megabytes.

Over the past few months, WhatsApp has introduced several new features such as support for proxy servers, which allows users to access their WhatsApp in countries where the app is blocked. Other features include the process of transferring usage history when switching to a new device, creating voice status for 24 hours with end-to-end encryption, blocking contacts from the notification bar, and more. Some of the features are also gradually coming to the computer apps and WhatsApp Web.
