The eighth edition of T20 World Cup is being held in Australia. The first round matches are between 8 teams including Sri Lanka and West Indies. The Super 12 matches will start from October 22. India’s first match is against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 23. Ahead of these matches, the International Cricket Council shared a video of Team India. But the fans who are not satisfied with this video are criticizing the ICC.
The ICC posted a video on its official Instagram account on Tuesday. “India are you ready?” The video is captioned. It features captain Rohit Sharma, opener KL Rahul, star batsman Suryakumar Yadav and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. But Virat Kohli was nowhere to be seen in this entire video.
This move by ICC has angered the Indian fans. In the comment section of the video, they are criticizing. Majority of the fans are of the opinion that Team India will not be complete without Virat. Where is the “king” of cricket? Others are asking. Others said that what the ICC did was wrong and that it was a deliberate attempt to humiliate Kohli.
