Although it is a bit strange to declare a basic item like a grandfather tank top as a trend, this is exactly what has been happening in the fashion world in recent months. Like quite a few contemporary trends, the origin of this trend is also in the late nineties and early 2000s, when it was not unusual to see stars wearing grandfather tank tops even on the red carpet.
While this trend also works great with a tank top from the market that cost NIS 20, of course the leading fashion houses jumped on it with branded versions that cost… a little more than NIS 20.

The leading grandfather tank top right now belongs to Prada, but the Loewe logo tank top also has a place of honor at the top of the trend, and besides a classic white color, it also comes in bright green and mesmerizing orange.
The Loewe tank top (which costs NIS 1,050 on the brand’s website) also has a cropped version, which Bar Refaeli modeled in her story today, right after she uploaded videos of hard work in the gym. To the black and minimalistic crop top with the white logo, Bar successfully matched high-waisted black jeans, reminding us once again that when it comes to casual wear – the most valuable items are in her closet.
