The Vente Venezuela party (VV) welcomed the unanimous decision adopted by the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD) to convert the former diplomat Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, in it presidential candidate for Venezuela.

Edmundo González Urrutia was already registered as the provisional candidate in the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD), but his appointment was unanimously approved to approve his final application.

Omar Barbosa, secretary general of the alliance, made the appointment official, celebrating this decision and thanked Venezuelans for their trust.

Through its social networks, the official page of Vente Venezuela, indicated that María Corina Machado, would give a message to citizens on the occasion of the appointment of Edmund Gonzalez Urrutia.

At the moment, Nicolás Maduro, who has been president of Venezuela for more than 10 years, has not reacted to the opposition candidate in the July 28, 2024 elections.

Who is Edmundo González Urrutia?

Edmundo González Urrutia, former ambassador to Argentina and Algeria, is a politician and diplomat who will now be a presidential candidate for Venezuela.
