Marlow • Angela Merkel for 16 years as the head of the German government regularly got into the lens of cameras. And, I must say, in her “photo album” there are not only protocol photos from official events, but also very lively shots, such as these pictures. On Thursday, September 23, Angela Merkel visited the Bird Park (Vogelpark Marlow) in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, or rather, in the city of Marlow.

I must say that these are not the first photographs of the Chancellor with the birds. The bird park is located in the constituency of Angela Merkel, which the Federal Chancellor has represented in the Bundestag since 1990. The last time the Chancellor made an official visit and a photo session was in this park in 2012.

The inhabitants of the park were clearly to the liking of the Chancellor, and only the owl was left this time without lunch from Merkel’s hands. “No, no, I have already fed the parakeets well,” Angela Merkel said as she watched the bird of prey from a safe distance.
