The reason for this decline is said to be rival company Huawei. The reason for this is said to be the increasing smartphone sales of the American company Huawei.

Huawei phones are becoming the choice of Chinese people. Huawei’s smartphone sales have grown by 64 percent. As a result, Apple’s business in China has slowed down. The company’s revenue for the current quarter is said to be $6 billion below estimates.

Apple’s share of China’s smartphone market has dropped to 15 percent, according to a study by Counterpoint. Apple has slipped to fourth place among the top 10 brands in the Chinese smartphone market. A year ago Apple was in second place. At that time Apple’s market share was 19 percent.

This year, Huawei has been ranked second. Its market share has increased from 9.4 percent a year ago to 16.5 percent now. While companies like Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi are unable to compete with Apple, Huawei has emerged as a tough competitor for Apple.
