Raj Anadkat, who became famous with the character of Tappu in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has left the show. But he remains connected with his fans through vlogs. Through his vlog, the actor has answered the questions which are most asked or searched about him. In this the reason for leaving the show was mentioned. He also mentioned how his journey as Tappu started. He also told that he has received the offer of ‘Bigg Boss’ twice. However, whether he wants to go into it or not, let us tell. Raj Anadkat said about working with Bollywood actors, ‘As an actor, you cannot make a list of actors with whom you want to work. I have got the opportunity to work with many legends, be it Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh or Shahrukh Khan. When we went to the sets of KBC, I got a chance to share a frame with Amitabh Bachchan too. And during this time I also got a chance to ask some questions to Amit ji. My legs were trembling and I was very nervous. But that part was not telecast, so those memories were missed. I had asked for that footage from the makers but it was not possible. I’m just hoping that I get a chance to work with him again.

‘Bigg Boss’ offer rejected twice
Raj Anadkat told that he got the offer of ‘Bigg Boss’ twice. ‘I would like to go to Bigg Boss. Would love it if I get a chance. I have been a big fan of this show. And since its beginning till now I have watched almost all its seasons. I really wanted to go. And I also got offers in 2022 and 2023 but due to some reasons it could not happen. If I get it now, I will definitely do it. I like its concept very much.

Talking about Tappu’s journey in ‘Taarak Mehta…’ he said, ‘If I have to describe my experience with the show in one word, I would say amazing. I have learned a lot from the show and I have seen many ups and downs. I have so many memories with it. My feelings are connected. I did my first international trip with the show when we went to Singapore. I have earned a lot from the show. And so this has been a wonderful experience for me.

Meanwhile, regarding the reason for leaving the show, the actor said, ‘This question is coming to my mind all the time that why did I leave Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? I did this show for 5 years and was a part of more than 1000 episodes. It was beautiful but I wanted to play other characters. Wanted growth in my career and wanted to work in that direction. So I decided to leave the show and find new projects. I am really grateful to all of you for adopting me as Tappu and giving me so much love. I will be back soon with a new character.

Raj Anadkat told that he has been in the industry for a long time. ‘I have been part of the industry for more than 15-16 years. I started my acting career as a child artiste at the age of 8-9 and when I was around 21 years old I joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. My date of birth is written wrong on many portals. My birthday is on 27th December.
