Berlin – No question about it: there are winners of the pandemic. And some even come from Berlin. The online fashion retailer Zalando is one of them. Within a year, the company was able to increase the number of its active customers – i.e. those who order at least once a year – to 44.5 million. An increase of around ten million. At the same time, the number of orders in the online shop increased. From April to June, customers made more purchases than ever before: on average, they received five orders from Zalando. The company announced this on Thursday when it presented its quarterly figures.
