What does Pi (π) mean?
Pi (π) is a mathematical constant that represents the relationship between the circumference of a circle and its diameterand is approximately equal to 3.14159.
Generally rounded as 3.14, Pi (π) is an irrational number, since it has infinite decimals and not newspapers. This also implies that we will never be able to find all the numbers of Pi.
In that sense, Pi (π) Day is celebrated, as it has applications in our daily lives, as in geometry, engineering and architecture, technology, physics, industry and astronomy.
On its website, National Geographic explained that every location system needs this number Pi (π), since this digit “will be related to all that circular or spherical route.” That is why it is used from GPS in vehicles to radar and detector systems in airplanes.
