Romantic Scene: Most weddings focus on feelings. But they shouldn’t have to carry the marriage alone.

More rationality, less rose-tinted glasses: If you let your feelings guide you when making important life decisions, you will quickly fall flat on your face. This also applies to marriage.
What is always made fun of by couples who get married “because of taxes”. Ah, how unromantic! Of course you can see it that way, although you can buy a lot of candles, flowers and champagne bottles for a decent tax return. On the other hand, taxes and financial security are at least solid reasons. Marrying for love – that is considered the only true motivation. And that’s not a reason at all: nobody has to get married in this country in order to love. And no one should marry for love, for love carries a deceptive promise of salvation.
You can get an idea of this if you leave out the romantic aspect and look at examples from other areas. Imagine you have a good friend, a really great woman that you enjoy spending time with. But their apartment always looks like a bomb has hit it. Would you move in with her? And the friend who is extremely smart and creative but is irresponsible with money: how about founding a start-up with him? No?
