In the south-west of Bangladesh, a huge bridge was built to connect 19 districts with the rest of the country. The bridge is scheduled to open on the 25th. Meanwhile, China is implementing a multi-crore road project connecting several countries. It has been reported that the Padma Bridge in Bangladesh is being built as part of the China Road Project.
Apart from this, the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka was organizing an event on the 22nd to explain the construction of the bridge in collaboration with China and Bangladesh.

This bridge connects the southwestern districts of the country with the rest of the country. It was not built under China’s road plan. No Chinese funding was forthcoming.
