The Prime Minister’s Office wishes to speed up the plans for the establishment of the Israeli “White House” – the Prime Minister’s residence and the Prime Minister’s office in one complex – a project that has been unfolding for the past decades and was frozen for many years and is now restarting. This was reported this evening in Khan 11.
According to the report in the Prime Minister’s Office, they want to move forward with restarting the project (known as the Shira Project, previously known as the Almog Project). In recent days there have been renewed discussions on the subject including the involvement of the General Security Service. The Prime Minister’s Office is interested in executing a tender to find an architect and a project manager for the project.
The Prime Minister’s Office responded: “With the formation of the government, it intends to examine the project of establishing the daycare center and the office and its implementation methods. Before decisions and approvals are made, officials will not be recruited.” I will only mention that the preparations for issuing the tender have already begun.”
