It seems that the new game of the saga The Legend of Zelda would come at a higher price than expected. According to several sources, Nintendo would be planning raise the price of this new installment matching the games of its Xbox and PlayStation competitors.
The first to give the alert were channels like Wario64 and Cheap Ass Gamer, who detected the pre-sale of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Switch on the Nintendo eShop, showing a suggested retail price of $69.99. After being reported, Nintendo suspiciously removed the price from the page.

And then American retail stores such as Gamestop and Best Buy arrived, which began pre-sale on their websites but with a price of 59.99, so that said pre-sale was canceled in a few minutes. At the close of this note, these stores have not yet relisted the new Zelda on their web pages.
Analyst and Twitter user BenjiSales speculates that the price of 70 dollars would be announced today in the Nintendo Direct scheduled for 5:00 pm (Lima time). It is not a customary move by Nintendo, but if we have seen something in the last year, it has been the inclement change in the policies of companies such as Sony and Microsoft related to the prices of their products. Nintendo could be next to jump on the bandwagon. Hopefully our doubts will be clarified in the next few hours.
