Neighborhoods of Campo Grande suffer from a storm on Saturday night (23). The wind began to be recorded around 6:40 pm. In the Universitário and Pioneiros region, neighborhoods such as Jardim Morenão, Jardim Botafogo and part of Rua Ana Luísa de Souza have sections without electricity. Part of Jardim Centenário is also without power.
Other locations affected by the winds were Jardim dos Estados, Santa Fé, Centro, Taveirópolis, Vila Popular, Residencial Maria Aparecida Pedrossian, Jardim São Bento, Jardim Monte Virgínia and Jardim Paulista.
While traveling through Jardim Morenão and surrounding areas, student Clara Silva, 23, noticed streetlights turned off without light. “It’s all in the dark here, only the cars light up. It hasn’t rained yet.”
The electricity concessionaire, Energisa, was contacted by the report. To date, no return note has been sent.
