Rosmin Tadtil, a native of Kozhikode Farokh, has been crowned as the Truly Traditional Miss Malabar 2022 beauty pageant. The Grand Finale was held at the Laxmore Convention Center, Atholi on 3rd, 4th and 5th October. The competition consists of three rounds in which the personality, confidence, intelligence and efficiency of the contestants are evaluated. Lavanya, Aishwarya and Neelima bagged second, third and fourth positions respectively.
The pageant was organized after a gap of four years due to the spread of Covid. The pageant’s 2018 winner Akhila Mohan, celebrity photographer Reggie Bhaskar and Saritha Ravindranath were the judges. 17 contestants. They were given grooming under the leadership of Dalu Krishnadas and Devapriya. Sreekumar is the show director.
Although active in modeling, this is the first time Rosmin is participating in a beauty pageant. A mono act performed in the talent round. Through this, she also won the Miss Talent subtitle. “Winning the very first pageant gives me double happiness. A great friendly atmosphere prevailed throughout the match. Each contestant was better than the other. Also worth mentioning is the grooming we received. I feel lucky to be a part of the show. Thanks to everyone who supported” – Rosmin said.
Rosmin is the second daughter of Sajith Kumar and Bijila, a sub-engineer in KSEB. This success is seen as the first step towards the goal of cinema. Rosmin has completed her graduation in BSc Maths from Guruvayoorappan College and is currently preparing for her post graduation.
