Dubai: Officials have distributed winter clothes and food items to more than 1,000 construction workers in Dubai. In collaboration with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs and the Dubai Permanent Committee of Labor Affairs, workers were distributed traditional clothes and food items. Al Marri added that GDRFA is interested in starting various community initiatives aimed at giving happiness to groups such as workers, while appreciating their efforts and role.

GDRFA Deputy Director General and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Labor Major General Obaid Bin Muhair Bin Surur said that this initiative was launched in collaboration with GDRFA Dubai as an expression of appreciation and respect for the workers. Bin Surur clarified

Abdullah Lashkari, Secretary General of the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs in Dubai, said that the initiative “Let’s warm their winter” is one of the programs approved by the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs, and the UAE is unique in protecting the rights of workers and providing them with a dignified life. “Dubai wants to implement this annually, and this comes from the perspective of wise leadership,” he said.
