The faction “Collaborating Engineers – DCM” expressed its will for the continuous and direct cooperation of the Technical Chamber and the Chamber of Commerce, with the aim of progress and the balanced development of the region, after the meeting of its members with the president and the administration of the Ioannina Chamber .
At a time when the Town Planning Plans, which are prepared under the supervision of the TEE, have already started, proposals for the new Local Town Planning Plan of Ioannina were discussed, in order to develop the necessary uses, which will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in our area, such as the need for siting of new BI.PE., as well as other professional uses, such as for example the creation of a new Energy Community and in general the development of RES in the wider area.
It was also discussed the organization of a conference together, regarding the development of entrepreneurship and the role of the engineer, during the next term.
Special mention was made of the various financial tools, which are going to run soon, in order to create new investments, such as for example the new Development Fund, NSRF, Leader, etc., for the completion of which the role of engineers is necessary. A broader reference was also made to the transnational Interreg programs, in which the Epirus Department of the TEE has already joined for the first time, and the possibility of cooperation between the two Chambers for their inclusion in new programs together was discussed.
Finally, the members of the “Collaborating Engineers – DCM” faction, led by Yiannis Tsigros, thanked the Chamber’s management and president Makis Chrysostomou personally for the warm welcome they received, as well as for the climate of willingness to cooperate they demonstrated. The president and the management of the Chamber of Commerce wished them good success in the elections and stated that they hope for a continuation of the good cooperation after the elections.
