Our big goal is the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028. That’s why every game is important. We need a high ranking to qualify. The contracts are for 5 years because they start now. We only have a theoretical chance to qualify for the Olympics in Paris. Of course, the coaches and medical staff can release a player for certain reasons. There are no penalties for breach of contract.
There is no obligation to play in the national team. Contracts aren’t for everyone. If someone does not want to sign, they are not needed. We have to work like bees to succeed!” shared Ganev.
