/ The head of the organizing committee for the “Kirkuk Martyrs” tournament announced on Friday that the fourth season of the five-a-side football tournament was launched on the five-a-side fields in Kirkuk Governorate, and this tournament is dedicated to the displaced people of Tuz Khurmato district who have settled.
The head of the committee, Raouf Bastamli, told Agency, “The Kirkuk Martyrs Championship, in its fourth edition, was launched this evening, on Kirkuk stadiums, with the participation of 30 teams representing the displaced people of Tuz Khurmato district in Kirkuk, and the tournament was called (Kirkuk Martyrs).”
He added, “The tournament is attended by displaced people from Tuz Khurmato district, and it is one of the strongest Ramadan tournaments for five-a-side football.”
He pointed out that “the teams were divided according to the league system and the tournament was divided into five groups. The winner of the groups was determined, followed by the approval of the individual and individual teams, and the winners qualified for the semi, semi and final,” indicating that “the final date will be before the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.”
