Thrissur,

Sindhu (37) is a resident of Selakkarai, Thrissur District, Kerala. He was introduced to Rajeev, a resident of Kalmandapam in Palakkad, through Facebook and they talked to him often. Last March, the girl invited Rajeev to come to her house in Thrissur.

In turn Rajiv went to Sindhu’s house in Thrissur. They have been happy there twice. Sindhu had already filmed the scenes on his cell phone as he had decided on those shows. The boy was there for about 3 hours and was getting ready to leave.

The teenager then showed the footage he had on his cell phone and threatened to insult it by sending it through the media and sending it to your family if you did not respectfully pay for the jewelry.

The frightened youth took the 4 pound gold chain around his neck and one lakh and fifty thousand rupees from his bank account. Then Valipar went from there.

Then ten days later, Sindhu called the boy and said, “I will return the stolen jewelery to you. Come home.” Relying on it, Valipar went back to Sindhu’s house.

There, Sindhu again demanded Rs 10 lakh and threatened. The youth lodged a complaint at the East Thrissur police station. After receiving the complaint, the police rushed to the spot, arrested Sindhu from the house and recovered the jewelery.

During the investigation, the police came to know that Sindhu had extorted money from several youths in a similar manner.
