Jeddah: The number of new Kovid patients in Saudi Arabia has risen to over 800. Today 819 new patients and 239 cures were reported. The total number of Kovid cases reported in the country so far is 5,56,236 and the number of cases is 5,41,853.
Two new deaths have been confirmed by Kovid. This brings the total death toll to 8,877. There are currently 5,506 people in treatment across the country. Of these, 54 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory.
The covid release rate in the country is 97.41 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.6 per cent. Riyadh has the highest number of patients. A total of 234 people were newly infected in Riyadh.
178 new cases were reported in Jeddah, 140 in Makkah, 35 in Dammam, 33 in Hufuf and 26 in Madinah. So far 5,08,20,949 doses of Kovid vaccine have been distributed in Saudi Arabia. Of these, 2,50,13,818 were the first dose, 2,31,74,750 the second dose and 26,32,381 the booster dose.
