Police are investigating the mysterious death of a woman at a private hostel in Yercaud, Salem district.
Vijay is from Kallakurichi district. Her brother is working abroad. In this case, Vijay is said to have had an extramarital affair with his brother’s wife Manju. Meanwhile, Vijay was engaged to be married. In this situation, Vijay came with his brother-in-law to a private hotel in Yercaud yesterday morning and stayed there. However, Vijay has informed the Yercaud police that Manju committed suicide by hanging himself in the bathroom this morning. Police arrived at the scene and recovered the body.
Vijay is being investigated. Did Manju commit suicide after a problem arose between two people who were living alone in a relationship outside of marriage? Or was he murdered? Police are investigating.
