The Catalan Federation of Friends of the Railway has invited associations, manufacturers, distributors, stores, visitable models, etc. to promote activities and advantages for their clients to celebrate the day, and thus highlight the hobby. Annual Congress
Founded in 1954 in Genoa and with headquarters in Bern, Morop brings together twenty-two European associations, and its main activity consists of promoting railway modeling and creating European Modeling Standards. The North American National Model Railroad Association maintains close contacts and seeks, as far as possible, compatibility between the standards applicable to both sides of the Atlantic. Every year a conference is held at the end of summer, which organizes work meetings, the general assembly and excursions to discover the railways of the host region.
