“Yellow” weather alert for Campania starting from midnight

The Civil Protection of Campania has issued a new weather warning notice of Yellow level for rain and thunderstorms from midnight until 11.59pm on 27 October throughout the entire territory with the exception of zone 4 (Alta Irpinia and Sannio) and zone 7 (Tanagro). Wind warning throughout Campaniaincluding zones 4 and 7.

Precipitation is still expected, local to scattered, in the form of showers or thunderstorms. Locally strong winds with south-westerly gusts. Rough sea con possible storm surges along exposed coasts. Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk even in the absence of precipitation due to the saturation of the soil. In consideration of the presence of locally strong winds with gusts, it is recommended maximum attention to ensure the correct sealing of the structures (including mobile and temporary) and public green areas. Pay attention to the warnings issued by the regional civil protection.
