He spoke to the Prime Minister after receiving the Padma Shri award from President Dauprati Murmu. In the video, the Prime Minister is seen shaking hands with Shah Rashid Ahmed Quadri and talking to each other. Shah told the Prime Minister that he never expected to receive the Padma award when the BJP government was in power.
“During the UPA government, it was expected to get the Padma award. But didn’t get it. When your government came, the BJP administration did not think that they would give me the award. But you proved me wrong. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Shah said. The Prime Minister accepted Shah’s words by saying Namaste with a small smile.
