This morning (Thursday) the winners of the Academy of Cinema and Television Awards for Children and Youth for 2022 gathered on a special photo set built around Meditech Holon and posed for dedicated videos that will present the achievements of the series and content they lead.
“Educational Here” is the big winner of the ceremony, which was held for the second year in which the ceremony takes place, which puts at the forefront of the stage a wide range of excellent television creations intended for the young audience. “Educational Here” won no less than 20 categories out of 21, of which 8 were awarded to “Caramel”, the big star of the year; The series “My Nephew Benz” with 4 wins; “Children of the Tree House” and “Save the Wild Animals” with 2 wins each.

In the personal categories: Yuval Samo – winner for the second year in a row of the Comedic Actor Award for his role in “Panny Nanny”, Lyrit Belvan – won the Best Drama Actress Award for “Caramel”, Netta Roth – was chosen as the Best Comedic Actress for “Home Alone”, Yuval Segal – was chosen as the best drama actor on “Caramel”. Among the award presenters: Alona Sa’ar, Roni Dalomi, Daniel Moreshet, Adi Biti, Oded Paz, Omer Nodelman and more.

This year, it was decided to change the nature of the ceremony and instead of a “traditional” event that takes place in one hall and brings together the candidates in all categories (similar to the TV ceremony of “The Great” and the Ophir Awards), it was decided to produce an event that speaks the Z language and shoot 18 videos with the winners, when actors identified with This world gives them awards alongside journalists who regularly cover the media and television industry.
Another difference that distinguishes this ceremony from other ceremonies of the Academy lies in the fact that it is the only one that shares with the general public that affects the results. Thousands of teenagers were invited to take part in the selection of the winners and their vote constitutes 50% alongside the members of the Academy.

During the evening, sets of 3 videos will be uploaded showing winners in 3 different categories. The award to Tzipi Shavit – winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award, will be presented by Holon Mayor Mr. Moti Sasson. Shlomi Lauper is the editor of the content of the ceremony and Moshe Shatibi is the producer. This year, 35 series were submitted to the competition: 11 drama series, 7 comedy series, 6 preschool programs, 6 magazine programs and 4 documentary series.
