Star photographer Annie Leibovitz photographed the Ukrainian first lady Olena Selenska for “Vogue”. “I believe that she plays a very important role for Ukraine, for our families and for our women,” Zelenskyy said in the accompanying interview.

For security reasons, according to Vogue, Selenskyj has not seen his two children since the beginning of the war. “He has it much harder in that regard. he suffers And then my children suffer because they can’t see each other,” Selenska said of the breakup.
Selenska herself did not originally seek publicity. “I like to stay in the background – that suited me.” It was difficult for her to step into the limelight. Selenska recently asked the United States for more weapons in a speech at the Capitol in Washington.
Before becoming Ukraine’s First Lady, Selenska worked as a comedy writer and even then left the big stage to her husband. The two met at school and then got together at university.
