jpnn.comJAKARTA – PPDI Perjuangan (PDIP) revealed the findings of allegations of cheating on the 7th President Joko Widodo in the 2024 regional elections. One of the findings was the alleged involvement of a number of regional police chiefs in the regional elections. These include Central Java, West Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, North Sumatra and East Java which are suspected of being girls in the 2024 regional election process.
Therefore, the Chairman of the PDI-P DPP, Ronny Talapessy, urged President Prabowo Subianto to evaluate and remove a number of regional police chiefs who were suspected of being promiscuous in the 2024 regional elections.
He demanded the promise of President Prabowo who had issued a statement that the government, including the police, should not side with any of the candidate pairs in the 2024 regional elections.
“We found that Jokowi’s pattern of girls in Central Java is like the Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo, who once served as Solo Police Chief. Likewise, the candidate for governor, Ahmad Luthfi, was once Solo Police Chief. “We even found that police officers in Boyolali were proven to be promiscuous in the 2024 regional elections. This is of course contrary to President Prabowo’s direction, so there needs to be an evaluation of the Central Java Regional Police Chief (Ribut),” stressed Ronny.
He conveyed this in a discussion entitled Democracy Eroded Post-Reformation 98, Residues of the Jokowi Cawe-Cawe MK Regime, 2024 Elections and 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday (6/11).
Based on these facts, said Ronny, his party hopes that President Prabowo Subianto will prove his integrity regarding his promise not to intervene in the Pilkada process.
Ronny also urged President Prabowo to summon the National Police Chief to immediately evaluate and remove the Regional Police Chief who was suspected of not being neutral in the regional elections.
“This is the hope of the people so that the democracy that was damaged after the 2024 presidential election yesterday does not happen again. Therefore, we hope that there will be firm action from President Prabowo Subianto against the Regional Police Chiefs of Central Java, North Sumatra, Deputy Chief of Police for East Java, West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Papua Regional Police Chief, ”said Ronny.
Apart from that, said Ronny, his party also found other patterns such as the mobilization of law enforcement officers, state civil servants (ASN) and intervention with village heads in a number of areas.
“The trend doesn’t just stop with the presidential election, but also Jokowi’s role is very visible in the regional elections. For example, in Central Java we found 386 cases of violations of ASN neutrality and village heads who were deployed to support certain candidate pairs,” continued Ronny.
According to Ronny, the Central Java Bawaslu had recommended these fraud findings to the central State Civil Service Agency (BKN). However, reports have not yet received strict sanctions against the ASN involved.
Apart from Central Java, said Ronny, similar fraud patterns also occurred in several regions such as East Java, Banten, North Sulawesi, North Sumatra, West Kalimantan, as well as Maluku and Papua.
As a form of prevention, said Ronny, PDIP formed 10 thousand legal posts in each province to monitor the continuation of the regional elections against all forms of intimidation and fraud.
“So the things we did, for example in Central Java, we formed 10 thousand legal posts. “That is in people’s homes who are involved in monitoring fraud or intimidation that occurs,” said Ronny.
He also hopes that with this supervision, the public can choose candidate pairs based on their conscience. Without any intervention from outside parties. Including, reporting to the Command Post if you see, witness or receive intimidation from officials during the Pilkada. (flo/jpnn)

Interview Between Time.news Editor and Ronny Talapessy, Chairman of PDI-P DPP
Time.news Editor: Good afternoon, Ronny. Thank you for joining us today. Your recent revelations about alleged irregularities in the upcoming regional elections have sparked considerable discussion across the political landscape. Can you share what specifically led to these findings?
Ronny Talapessy: Thank you for having me. Our findings stemmed from various reports and whistle-blowings that highlighted a concerning pattern of involvement from regional police chiefs in the election process. We observed instances in provinces like Central Java and West Kalimantan where it appeared that law enforcement was not maintaining neutrality as required.
Editor: That sounds quite serious. You mentioned particular police chiefs in your statements. Could you elaborate on how their involvement could compromise the elections?
Ronny: Certainly. For example, we found that Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo, the Regional Police Chief of Central Java, was allegedly coordinating with candidates such as Ahmad Luthfi, who has a history as the Solo Police Chief. This creates a conflict of interest and undermines the integrity of the election process. It is crucial that law enforcement remains impartial, and this kind of involvement suggests otherwise.
Editor: You have called upon President Prabowo Subianto to take action. What specific measures are you looking for from him, and why is it so important?
Ronny: We expect President Prabowo to evaluate and potentially remove those police chiefs who have shown bias. His promise to ensure a non-partisan police force during the elections must be upheld to restore public trust in our democratic processes. It is essential that he acts decisively to rectify this situation, as any failure to do so could lead to a similar mess as we experienced after the 2024 presidential elections.
Editor: In addition to police involvement, you mentioned other irregularities such as the mobilization of state civil servants and village heads. Can you provide more insight into what this entails?
Ronny: Yes, we have discovered extensive mobilization of civil servants and village heads in favor of certain candidates, amounting to 386 documented cases of ASN neutrality violations in Central Java alone. This systemic manipulation compromises the election’s fairness and could lead to public disillusionment with the political process.
Editor: It appears that the issues you are highlighting have deep roots and are part of a larger trend. What actions do you believe can effectively address these systemic issues?
Ronny: First and foremost, a thorough evaluation of all involved parties is necessary, not only those in law enforcement but also within the political system itself. This should be followed by strict sanctions against those found guilty of interfering with the electoral process. Transparency, accountability, and a robust response from the authorities, including the National Police Chief, are vital. We aim for a clean electoral process that reflects the true will of the people.
Editor: Thank you for sharing your insights, Ronny. It seems clear that the path ahead will require concerted efforts from both political leaders and citizens to ensure a fair electoral environment. We appreciate your commitment to addressing these issues.
Ronny: Thank you for having me. It’s crucial that we all play our part in safeguarding democracy in our country.
